“A treasure close to everything” Me and my family stayed in this beautiful home over Easter weekend. We had a wonderful time. The design was an eclectic mix of modern and southern charm. The weather was perfect for sitting on the porch while my dog explored the back yard. Everything was perfect and everyone was comfortable. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us

“Great location” This apartment was in a great location. We just needed to cross the street to hop on Canel streetcar to get us to most all locations we wanted to go. Streetcar goes to: Bourbon Street, French Market, both steamboats, Riverwalk mall, cemetery’s, Casino and short walk to meet up for other tours. Two great restaurants within very short walk. We went to Canel Street Bistro for great breakfast and Mandinas for dinner. Since they were so close you could bring back any leftovers. Apartment was very clean and well stocked.

“Perfection in Marigny!” The house is perfect. The pool is perfect. The tropical garden surrounding the pool is perfect. The little family of chickens, the sweet chihuahua, and cats is perfect (friendly and quiet). The towels and sheets are perfect. The owners are perfect - friendly and warm and welcoming and helpful. The homemade soaps and shampoos (by the owner) are perfect. I didn't get to sample, but Ann even left eggs from the chickens in the fridge! The location is perfect. I know I keep using the same word, but seriously there is no reason to look any further at vacation homes in New Orleans. Stop here, book the Black Diamond, and then count the days until you can chill out in that garden pool with a drink and the company of Ann, Tom, Dot, Lulu, and Buddha. You won't regret it.

“Live like a local in the heart of New Orleans” Location, Location, Location! This 200+ yr. old Creole cottage (with the charm & quirks of an old building) in quiet neighborhood is a short walk to the food, music, & art scene loved by locals & tourists. Walk a couple blocks further & you are in the heart of the French Quarter. With a trolly pass you have access to much of the older parts of the city. Enjoyed having a kitchen with full refrig. with freezer & stove with oven. Do not plan a loud party or you will disturb your neighbors. A + & - is the filming in this area; parking tight, but you walk past production set up & catch beads thrown by Lionel Richie & Katy Perry during a photo shoot.

About Louisiana
Pocketed between the Gulf of Mexico, Mississippi and Texas, Louisiana is a dynamic southern state with a mash of cultures. This tranquil paradise is an ideal venue for mountain biking, hiking and bird watching, and the surrounding area is home to some of the most unique Louisiana campgrounds.
